Prasar Bharti Announced 8th Annual (97th) E Auction For Mpeg4 Slots. Notice inviting application for allotment of vacant MPEG4 slots on DD FREE DISH platform for the period from 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027.
Its online E Auction process to be tentatively held from 16th March 2026. The E Auction will be conducted in accordance with e auction methodology 2025 for dd free dish slots to private tv channels. International broadcasters permitted and licensed by the ministry of I&B can also participate in e auction.
Categorization of tv channels in different buckets/rounds in accordance with Genres and language of channel for the allotment period and their respective price will be as follows.
